A chopping knife. It has a nice wide, flat blade that makes it safe to hold and chop things.

A sharp knife.
I use an 18 inch chefs knife - but I use it on most things.
Use whatever knife (or scissors) you feel comfortable with.

I dont use a knife. I use kitchen shears. A lot easier to cut

Use a sharp one and if I were you I would chop the parsley....Watch your fingers.

to retain flavour, never cut herbs, always tear them with ur fingers. otherwise flavour is absorbed by chopping bord.

I always use scissors. Also scissors for cilantro. peppermint ,chives, and green onion tops
