Do you ever wish you had gone into a different profession?

How much training did it take for you to get here? Would you recommend I get the 2 year or 4 year degree? How difficult is it to get the shift that you want? Is there a specialized area of nursing that is especially promising (such as burn unit nurses etc)? What is the worst part of your job? Is it easy to advance in your job? Is there a demand for nurses everywhere - even rural areas?
