We use this bleach water solution to clean with at work and just recently I've noticed my skin starts flaring up and getting really itchy and dry. I know I'm not allergic to it, there's probably just too much bleach in there. So, people have told me it's a bleach burn. What the hell is a bleach burn? How does that happen, and what will make it go away afterward?

its a chemical burn. Bleach does that just wear some thick gloves when u do work with bleach. If I remember correctly lotion isn't the best thing to wear if u have a chemical burn just flush with water and soap.

use moisturizing cream. That may make it sting more so make sure to use a cream with no perfumes added. Then always always wear gloves when you are washing with bleach. It will go away on its own in a couple days..but just keep them moisturized, aloe vera probably works excellent because it soothes burns .

A bleach burn is when you're down to your last pair of underwear and you're wearing them for a week when you have an accident in them. You pour a little bleach in them as you hang them over the tub in whoever's house you are are mooching a couch from and you have to put them back on before they're dry. The bleach burns the bottom of your grundle and starts to itch like crazy.
