God doesn't demand anything. He set up the system and you are in charge. You have a set of choices throughout life and you make your decisions and put forth your causes. You must live out the effects of all of your causes. No demands at all. It's all simply cause and effect.

That depends on which religion you are dealing with.

You wrote "Him" but him could be Allah or Jehovah or a host of other deities.

In some cases they demand and act of contrition. In some cases they ask for a statement of faith. It really doesn't make a difference. Bottom line is you made the choice to do something that turned out wrong and you have to decide for yourself what will you do about it. Will you try and sweep it under the rug or will you try and make an example out of it for the future.

The point I am trying to make is that you call it a mistake. That is a judgment. Others may call it a sin. That is another judgment. What you do about that judgment that too is a judgment. You say I am sorry. It is either an apology, a prayer, and act of contrition or whatever makes you happy that it is what it is.

So I really can't say God is the one demanding. I think it is you or whoever demanding of yourself a label for what it is you are doing.

As I remember you are not trapped in these walls of judgment so nobody should be demanding anything of you at all.

Take it easy.

No... someone else already stated you have free will, you don't have to apologize to get into heaven, although you will want to consider at least asking to be forgiven for anything you did that you believe was wrong and also consider accepting the fact that your sins were already payed for. Don't take it as a license to do bad things, just try to live one day at a time as the best person you can be.

God does not demanding us for apologize, but God gives us life guidance to a right path.
We should ask for apologize to human if we make mistakes to others. We should ask for apologize to Allah the only one God if we make mistakes to our God such as we forget praying.
Allah will not forgive us if the related person did not forgive us.as we have mistakes. But if we become infidels, Allah will not forgive us and all of our good doings will not be received as it is stated in the holy qur'an.

Well....yes and no. Yes in the sense that we are all part of God and we need to acknowledge our mistakes so we can learn from them and continue to grow as humans. But no in the sense that God does not REQUIRE anything from you, he can run the universe just fine whether or not you apologize.

No, the Holy spirit (if you have it) does tug on your heart to make proper corrections/apologies/amends though. Its like a conscience multiplied by a thousand!

No!
My conscience requires me to apologize to any person that I have harmed by my mistakes.

It makes it easier to live with myself, knowing that God demands nothing and has given me freewill.

God doesn't demand that we do anything. He just sits patiently and hopes that we use our gift of free will to come back to Him.

God bless,

I feel that god forgives most people! I think that you have to learn to forgive yourself before you can expect god to forgive you! When you do that then I think god will except you & forgive you for anything!!
