She does not sound like much of a friend if she keeps breaking her promises to you and betraying your confidence.
If you really still want her as a friend, go ahead and do remember not to tell her any more of your personal matters.

Yes, a friend is supposed to be a person who you can trust. Thats happened to me a couple times. Ive just learned to be the bigger person. Act like your better than her. Act like you wish you nevermet her. Than shell start feeling bad for what she did, shell learn from it and know not to do it to anyone else.

I have a friend lke that.
She cant keep her big mouth shut! But she's still my friend cuz she's always been there for me. I guess I've learned to live with her although I don't tell her any of my really personal secrets anymore. Cuz its lke she jus blurts it out while we r lke speakin to some1 else and lke 2min l8er realises wat shes done.
If she accidently just kinda said the stuff to her dad then i guess you cud forgive her...
but If its lke yur frnd always does it to get back at you or get u into trouble then she really isnt yur frnd.

calling someone a friend is not to be taken lightly. if she betrayed your trust then she is not your friend. you dont have to stop being her associtate if you dont want but in the future just dont tell her anything else that you dont want anyone else to know. And your relationship with this person will probably never be the same.

You should tell her that your angry at her for doing this and you dont think you can trust her anymore.
I guess now you will drift apart anyway as a good relationship is based on trust.
I wouldnt want a bestie that blabs everything I tell them.. thats just not on!

I would not be her friend anymore because if she lied once about something that was really personal then she will do it again.

If she has a history of it, why did you tell her? It's like the man who picked up the serpent that was freezing because he felt sorry for it. When it thawed, it bit him and as he lay dying, he asked it why. The serpent replied, "You knew I was a serpent when you picked me up."

Don't tell her anymore secrets... If you like her, be her friend... But be aware that she is not trustworthy
