Studies show that the more education one has, the more likely someone is to believe in evolution. I'm just curious.

I have some college, major in nursing, and I accept evolution.

I also educated myself on the subject beyond what I learned in school, however. I did that by reading the arguments and examining the evidence from both sides and remembering the meaning of objectivity while doing so.

I believe in evolution. I have two years of University in a Biology degree and graduated college as a Legal and Medical Secretary.

Nikki, for the millionth time, we did not evolve from monkeys. Science doesn't say we do. And you just showed that you don't have a college or university education so why are you even answering this question is not to just cause trouble?

Graduated High School, currently taking art classes, I'm a self taught zoologist, I'm also an atheist. So obviously, I am completely blown away by the evidence evolution has to offer, and I believe in it whole heartedly.

God created the world through the process of evolution. I really don't care, not an issue for me. I have a Masters Degree.

And the guy above who said anyone with a college degree in theology will not believe in evolution doesn't know what he is talking about. My BA is in Religious Studies. Most of the priest I know follow as I do the party line of our church, which is that God can create the world any way He wants including through evolution. Like I say, it is not an issue for me. We are here, how, why, etc. I don't care.

Funny how you say "believe in evolution" belief has the conotation of a leap of faith, interesting for a "theory based on facts alone" -quoting many evolitionists here.

I am a junior in high school, though I have done my own research on evolution and reached my own conclusions. And no, I did not use the Bible as my research. And yes, I researched claims supporting evolution.

Although I'm really starting to love your posts, I'm going to reword this before I answer it, since I don't think it's a matter of 'believing' with evolution. There's scientific facts backing it up, so it's not a faith issue. Do I agree that evolution happened and not deny the facts in front of my face? You betcha.

The studies do show that, but they don't account for self education. I have a high school diploma, that's it. However, I'm extensively self educated, reading and researching many areas that interest me, although admittedly religion is among the top, simply because I like to know my facts before I head into a debate about it.

I believe in evolution and I'm a semester away from finishing up an undergrad degree. In Scientific Illustration. That's where you learn how to draw scientific principles, so more Christians can start to get a grasp of them.
