You have to use a DVD reauthoring software like
Ulead Video Studio
or
Adobe Premieire
and reauthor the video

You can string the avi files together using windows movie maker (assuming you are using windows XP) but you will need some form of third-party software to burn a DVD (and a DVD burner). Sonic makes a pretty decent DVD-burning software package as does Nero.
