Not all christians believe in that stuff. And whether they do or not where did you get the idea they had to prove anything to you or anyone else?

Shut up man, SHUT UP NOW!!!!!!
1) When they "proved the shroud was a fake" the took the carbon test sample from a patch put on the shroud after a hole was burned in it.
2) The church (Catholics and Christians alike) never made any definitive statement about the ark. Also no religious group has control as to who can see it.
3) I don't know which one you are referring to but I am sure of three such miracles that have not been proven a fake. so even if the one you know about is fake you have to have a wider view of things or you have the same narrow mind that you people accuse Christians of having.
4) Learn how to spell.
IF YOU TOOK THE TIME TO LOOK AT THE FACTS THAN YOU WOULD SEE THAT WE ARE NOT TRYING TO PROVE A LIE BUT BRING FORWARD THE TRUTH. NEXT TIME THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE A PROMISE LIKE THAT OR YOU WILL GET HURT.
Oh ya and by the way that isn't a threat, it's a promise.
P.S. my screen name is beazt for a reason, and I’ll let you use your imagination as to what the 68 means.

Are you talking about Christians or Catholics here. There are many churches that are Christian. The only one that supports idol worship would be the Catholic church - Mary, St Augustine Etc.
The shroud of Turin happened a very long time ago and has only recently been checked for validity and Noah's ark is in the top of the mountains of - I can't remember - either Turkey or China if I recall. And seeing it has nothing to do with a church or religion it's the government of the country that won't let any one in. So how is it these things have been used to get converts? If you want proof that it's true then you should ask God. He will answer you! But of course if you really don't want to know and you just want to make allot of noise about something that obviously worries you then don't ask. And just keep on as you are and you will never know for your self the truth and the proof that evades those who really don't want to know to begin with!

Hi Atheist.. i have a differant approach than the others here. I personally see a HUGE differance between Christians and Religious Orginizations.
A humble Christian is no liar or any differant than any other human on the planet just hoping for some piece of the pie of life and happieness. That is not Christian, that is human. It is Organizational Religious groups, I will not use names, but many would hold the truth from their own followers not just to you who is not Christian.
If you can not tell I am not a Chistian, nor am I an atheist, I am more Agnostic, I beleive in something, but I do not beleive in insitutionalist religious groups. These groups tend to put themselves as representatives for their followers to God, or Allah, Buddah, which ever faith you may have. We are fed at birth by these institutions to beleive what they do, and not left the freedom to choose for outselves what to beleive and how to pray and where to pray. Their is no profit or control in that.
So I can not see the Christians responsible for something that is not even a religious matter to the Institutions, only to personal individuals, many whom are Christian in the USA.
Does this make some sense to you? I understand what you mean about lies and deceit, but knowing who to blame and not to blame is not so easy.
I do not think it fair or descent to downgrade or slander peoples faith which they need so dearly wether we beleive their meaning or not, to them it is what they beleive and important and we should respect their beleif just as they should respect yours and mine which are not the same either. I am no Atheist, and not a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist or any known named Religion.
Please try not to be so hateful of a whole class of people, it is Individuals and institutions who lie to us all, not the average joe and jane. Why piss them off at you when you can still ask the same question with cynisism without stepping on their faith.

The shroud and the bleeding statue are Catholic artifacts, not Christian, so at least try to get your religious groups straight. And it's not Christians keeping people from the Ark, but Turkey won't let anyone go up there.
Christians don't need to lie, we have the truth.

Whats wrong ,get your feeling hurt over the smoking think.
You need to give it a break.
I as a Christian, never said the Turin was real, the ark is on the side of a mountain.LOOK IT UP.
Never saw a bleeding statue.
But I have seen the power of God,with my own eyes.
I care not if you believe.
That is up to you.
Me think you protest to much.=()

Well there's a hoax called the Paluxy River man prints that a lot of Christians still believe. There are claims that fossilized human foot prints are right along side dinosaur ones. There are no limits to what Christians will do to prove their lies. They believe that the Bible is true and nothing anyone can show them will change their minds. They don't approach the Bible rationally, so reason and logic can't convince them.

God proves Himself in everything that we see..all this other stuff..who needs it? Jesus told His disciples that they are blessed because they see..but even more blessed are the ones that believe without seeing it with their eyes.
I know God's real..everyday I see it.
And here's some proof for you..Jesus really existed, died and rose from the dead..study it.
And don't get upset at Christians because we chose to believe..some others are to ignorant to see the truth even if it's right in front of their face.

Ultimately, we will not have to prove anything. God will have the final say over it all! As for those who seek to prove biblical facts scientifically, they haven’t realized that God made it hard to prove scientifically to insure that they would develop and grow in faith. Therefore, some of them might be suffering from a lack of faith.

I admire and enjoy your cynicism, but reckon these hoaxers were out to make a fast buck rather than genuinely attempt to convince people to convert.
