Who, for example, don't understand thermodynamics (and where its laws apply), don't understand fossil records, and most certainly don't understand biology?

Does it have something to do with religion?

to be completely unpartial and fair....many "scientists" have as poor understanding of the bible and christianity, as christians do science.

but they throw that under the rug...like it doesn't matter. you really have to get off of this "christians are blind sheep who just follow the crowd" thing. it is completely untrue. i know because i have seen many walks of life and that is garbage.

if it helps at all....the bible itself has claimed its own controversy thousands of years before you were even around.

so lets get some perspective here.

i'll ackowldege that i am ignorant in some areas of science when you guys start admitting the bible isn't just a fairytale pulled out of someone's a ss., but has historical evidential support.

be confident you comprehend what parameters you discover suited. do not get some thing with any plastic lenses everywhere. For microbiology artwork, be confident to include an oil immersion lens of a minimum of 1000x. Binocular is nice in case you intend to apply it for lengthy sessions of time (it truly is the pricy section). do not waste money on fancy diversifications like section-assessment... save round. Zeiss and American Optical are good high quality, yet expensive. Omano is affordable, yet i'm not familiar with them.

rofl. I certainly do understand it. I took two years of Biology in University with intend to enter Paleontology before I decided it wasn't for me to finish the degree.

In fact, I'd say it has more to do with lack of religion that I chose the logic route. I can't stand the thought of living my life in the dark and simply have to know everything.

Don't worry I am a professional biologist and can tell you thermodynamic laws tend towards disorder, and de-evolution.

I understand fossil records in Texas that show dinosaur tracks imbedded in other tracks and allow for the hypothosis that they were chasing the other. I understand 100 miles away in the same layer, there is human tracks imbedded into dinosaur tracks and wonder why people don't think humans and dinosaurs coexisted.
O.K. I exagerated a bit - I am a biochemist

Well, I guess thousands of years of selectively loose interpretation of the bible has gotten Christians good and ready to start twisting science around to their advantage, eh?

They're not amateurs. The root "ama-" refers to love, and scientific thought (as other thought) is not something of interest to the cut and paste brainwashees.

Yes, I understood the weakness in the entropy argument in the tenth grade, it saddens me that grown men and women cannot do the same...
