I am 40 years old, 5'3" tall and slim built, but my only problem is that my tummy seems to be very inflated as if I were pregnant. Can you please tell me what it might be and how I can get rid of it?

yes i can help you...go on a diet sorta like the south beach diet. In one week if you do what i tell you i bet you will come back to me at thatartistwin@aol.com and say it worked.

Eat only tuna and fish and chicken breast ( a very lean 90 percent fat free burger or turkey burger ok) and some salads with nothing but cucumbers and lettuce and OLIVE OIL and vinegar for one week straight (no carbs no ketchup VERY little mayo) watch the tummy go away.....good luck

You may have fibroid tumors of the uterus. They are called leiomyomas. They can be very small or very large. I've had many patients with fibroids large enough she appears to be pregnant. See your gynecologist. A pelvic exam may reveal an enlarged uterus. Your doctor might order an ultrasound examination to rule out a mass.

Fibroids are NOT cancerous. About 35% of women over the age of 35 have at least one fibroid. But you need to make sure that is all it is.

Unfortunately this is what happens as we get older. Watch your diet, walk as much as possible, I used to do sit-backs, they help. sit-backs are backwards sit-ups, they work very well if you can do them. Sit on a flat surface, bend your knees and touch with your chest, with your arms slightly bent outward, slowly lean your body back, count slowly to 10 without touching the floor and then pull yourself back with another 10 count and start over again start with 10 and try to work yourself up to a t least 20 during one time, (easier than it sounds.) try to do this at least 2 times a week. Good Luck to you. DIET COUNTS, PLENTY OF WATER, watch alcohol consumption, very tummy fattening.Same with SODA Going to drink? take a walk the next day to work off the excess calories.
