It was called Number Munchers. (There was also Word Munchers).

These were first made by companies,.. then knock offs were made (there's your 80's history likely). Then they were probably avilable in shops that made illegal copies in packs of 3 or 5,... or 10 (that's the 90's for ya). Those type of activities seemed to stop about the year 2000.

Why I am rambleing about all this is because this tells you the odds of finding it online, on eBay, and in Threft Stores (I have seen full Comedore Computers with all the accessories in Threft stores in my area with piles and piles of old games for old computers).

But those are for the Apple II or for similar computers.

Your going to want to seek out either Emulated versions (this means it will work with current Mac or current Windows) or Dos compatible Knock Offs (they won't be called Number Munchers).

Emulated Versions will probably be free. So try searching on Yahoo for Emulator Number Munchers

You MAY need to download an Emulator software as well. This will just adjust games from Apple II format to one that works on your computer,.. but all the games have to be set up to work with that Emulator.
