Rocky Marciano vs. Mike Tyson

That's a tough call. If this is prime Mike Tyson we're talking about, I agree with Ric that he could have beaten anyone. Tyson was a modern fighter with modern skills, and not a bad punch either.
The thing is, Marciano had a tendency to keep going. He had a pretty good defense that might not be as effective against Tyson, but he could throw punches from unorthodox angles that Tyson might not see coming. Or at least not see coming that one time necessary for a knockout.
Of course, that's assuming Tyson's relentless body attack isn't able to wear Marciano down and win Tyson the knockout victory.
... If it does go to the cards, I'm still going with Tyson, but it's just a guess.

Marciano all the way. Tyson didnt have the confidence marciano had. Also if you look at mikes past fights he dont like to get hit or anyone to stand up against him.Marciano would hit him hard and mike would lose all confidence. Marciano was a lot tougher physically and mentally. Marciano KOs tyson in 5.

I don't like Mike Tyson but I think he would have beaten Marciano.

Tyson, in his prime, on the right night could have pulled it off against anyone. Even Ali, but only on a bad Ali night. V.S. Marciano, Tyson would kick *** presuming you mean prime Tyson... what a waste he was huh? Sad.

I'll go for mike. A prime tyson has a dynamic one-punch knockout. Combination of speed and power. A boxer with "granite chin" would stand his punch. Also knowing that he has defense and having an iron chin. So, gotta go for iron mike.

Tyson was way too fast, big and skillful for Marciano.

I'd go for Tyson if they were in their respective primes. He had better boxing skills and had faster hands.
