Superman is a superhero not an alien.

Wow, I guess you're right. I was thinking that maybe he's not since he was adopted by American citizens, but didn't they just start raising him? Unless they officially adopt him, he wouldn't become a citizen. And that guy above is correct: if his adoption was based on fraud he could lose his US citizenship.

This brings to mind 2 more questions:

1. Do you think immigration officials would use kryptonite to subdue Superman so he could be deported? I doubt that's in the manual.

2. Where would they deport him to and how would they get him there?

He couldn't get asylum. I won't explain the law (it's complicated) but he doesn't fall into any of the categories.

My guess would be that they'd let him stay under a "humanitarian reasons" exception, considering his home planet was destroyed and all.

Well, Superman IS an alien, as he does come from another planet in another galaxy. However he is NOT illegal. He was adopted by an American family, which makes him a naturalized citizen. Nevermind the fact that he is also, as many before me have pointed out, FICTIONAL.

No, not at all, since he was adopted by American parents he is a US citizen.
Many people said that his parents falisfied his forms, now I'm no superman expert, but wouldn't his parents mark "uknown country of orgin" on his birth certficiate. After all he did land in America, and Clark Kent's adoptive parents have no idea where he came form (even if they do they have no way to prove who is parents are) so they can legally either assume "unknown orgin" or US as the origin.

since Clark Kent was never adopted

To be adopted in a legal way he must have to inform the origin of his birth.

Other thing- during of the supost adpotion you must to inform where you got the baby

Since Clark kent parents lie about all adpotion paper are fraudlent.

They knew he came from Space- you must inform that in the immigration forms, even if sounds crazy.

Since his parents lied about his origns Clark's parents committed fraud by lying on federal forms

Even if he came from space their parents "MUST" to inform the immigration officer during the adption process.

If they choose to lie then is a fraud.

They got fraudulent papers for Clark Kent..

Plus his parents knew he came form space and for that a person or alien for that matter must be in quarentine(another law broken )

And base in today's law he would be deported and could not come back to America for the next 10 years.

He went in and out of country without going thru immigration.

Super man also need to follow the law.

Yes supper man is a illegal alien.

Nah, he was adopted by that family, and became a citizen legally. Truth, justice, and the American Way! Superman is currently busy patrolling the Mexican-American border and stopping illegals.
