Yes, yes, yes! Your mouth is the place where bacteria can grow and then spread throughout your bloodstream. Also dangerous because your mouth is so very close to your brain. Mouth diseases indicate other health problems. An unhealthy mouth is a bad sign! I also have peridontal disease and have been trying to get it in check for 2 years now. It's very resilient!

Trust me....I am an interior designer and happen to have done work for a dentist. I had not been to one in eleven years because of fear. I did not have too serious of problems but was shocked at how dentistry has changed. There is very little pain if at all now. If you came from the day and age when it was scary...that has all changed! You will be SOOO relieved. And yes it is beyond necessary....but not anything you need to fear! Good luck and smiles to you!

ALL OF THIS TREATMENT IS TO SAVE YOUR TEETH FROM GETTING PULLED, AND TO BRING YOU PERIODONTAL DISEASE UNDER CONTROL.
IF YOU HAVE THESE SORT OF ATTACKS SOME MEDICATION MAY BE HELPFUL.
