I've always liked sweets and especially chocolate, but for the last few weeks, I am like addicted to it. It's all I could eat. I know, thats not healthy at all. Any advice why this could be and also, is there anything similar to chocolate I could eat, but with less sugar/fat in it? Many thanks! Gini.

Hi. The only thing similar to chocolate is Dark Chocolate itself. But make sure It's Dark Chocolate and not Milk Chocolate. Also, Make sure it's 70% or more cocoa inside the chocolate. And there's also good news. Studies show that a small piece of dark chocolate everyday could prevent you from getting heart disease. And the best place to buy Dark Chocolate is either at Target or Walmart. Now the Dark Chocolate is gonna taste like a rich taste. But you will get use to it.

Look on the bright side, now you don't have to be guilty about anything.

Happy Munching!!!

Lol, you are in plenty of company, the chocoholics anonymous.

I heard that chocolate fills a deficiency of magnesium ( uh huh).
ALso chocolates give a natural high (shame on you)

If you have to indulge your passion for chocolates, make it a point to eat the dark chocolate, the least sweet of all varieties. It also has plenty of antioxidants so it must be good for you.

I have tasted something of a pretend chocolate named carob . It has a funny aftertaste and I truly thought it did not taste anything remotely chocolatey. Others like it so give it a try.

since chocolate naturally has caffeine in it, maybe you've become addicted, just like people who drink coffee find it hard to stop. here's a link that should give you some information.
