Remember that life is a LIFELONG LEARNING PROCESS -- and to constantly want to learn -- read, do crosswords, attend lectures or presentations, learn a new skill (or two), don't be afraid to try something new, and ... if you have the time (and resources) -- GO BACK TO SCHOOL!

Start Small -- remember where you put things in your home -- what is your grocery list? How much of each item do you use every month and where are they in the pantry? Have you done any inventories of your DVD Collections (or CD collections? It is the simple stuff that helps us with our memories and mind skills -- keeping us sharp throughout the years.

Exercise the mind by doing something that challenges it. Do crosswords, sudoku, puzzles. Learn something new, such as another language or how to write with the hand you don't normally write with or play a video-game if you don't normally play video-games. Try to memorize something (a poem, a story or objects on a picture for example). Try to remember something particular, such as all words that you know that start with the letter A or the names of all your high school classmates. Things like this can be good exercise for the mind and help your memory stay sharp or become sharper.
