Tell her it's not funny anymore, nor was it ever. Tell her you'd appreciate it if she stopped!

Okay... wow. I see a lot of negative answers. I don't know about the rest of the people here, but I come here for answers and advice to consider, not to listen to what people dream about doing in certain situations.
I noticed someone else mentioned it might be a medical problem. I have to agree. It might just be that she naturally has a lot of gas, or has some kind of problem that causes it. You never really know. And her singing that song goes along with that joke video that people made about BS. It's probably just her way of laughing it off.
Farting is natural, everyone does it. It's not exactly something you can stop, and if you're having a gassy day... it's not likely that you can run to the bathroom every time you feel a fart coming on. If she's doing it obnoxiously... then maybe it's best to talk to your boss about it. Explain the situation and how it makes you feel.
I wouldn't advise handing her a bottle of bean-o or gas-x and adding some snide remark. It's rude and ugly and makes you worse than her. You want real advice on this? Then go with what feels right. But don't be cruel, it may not be something she has control over. She is human after all, just like the rest of us. Try not to take things like this so serious, life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Learn to laugh at yourself and with others. (if you haven't already.)
And last but not least, if all else fails, just get a can of febreeze air freshener and give the room a spray after she does her deed.

I think there are several ways to handle this, varying in degree of cruelness.
1) What I would likely to (which leads me to believe it's a bad idea) would be to by her some bean-o/gas-ex, and then the next time she passes gas, give it to her and tell her that the whole office thinks she's disgusting. Probably bad idea for workplace cheer.
2) You could just leave the bean-o/gas-ex at her desk. she might catch the hint. you could leave a note with it also.
3) if you're on friendly terms with her (or you could try to get there), you might mention in a friendly way that the office finds it awkward/uncomfortable when she passes gas. Remember to use "i" statements ("I feel...") because she can't argue with how you feel; everyone is entitled to feelings.

behavior modification time!
practice this facial expression:
while another person is making an a$$ of themself (i.e. singing britany spears), you just give them a long, blank look, and don't pull your eyes away or make any movements at all. They spotlight on them will start to get really uncomfortable for them. don't pull your eyes away until about 3 seconds after they have stopped. then don't say anything, just go back to what you were doing.
soon they will learn that if they don't want to feel really embarrased, they should stop doing that around you.

I read some where that the average person passes gas between 12-25 times a day.

This is rude, ignorant and repulsive behavior. I would purchase a can of air freshener, and anytime she did it spray in her immediate area. And simply tell her there are just some things that ladies do not share with everyone else. and then tell her. "Oops, you are obviously not a lady!" There are much better ways to handle this Ms Piggy, excuse yourself to the restroom, as normal mannered people would do. How gross and repulsive. Good luck and God bless****

Sorry but you cant force anyone to stop passing gas. Id be more annoyed by her singing a BS song than passing gas.
Just ignore her.

This is a delicate situation, she has her rights and you have yours. A friend of mine had this same problem with a co-worker. After many failed attempts to get her to stop, she had a meeting with the woman and their supervisor. The embarrassment of her Boss talking to her about this problem stopped the rude behavior. Maybe it will work for you.

It sounds like perhaps her attitude towards flatulence is a little unprofessional. If this is distracting you perhaps you should talk to her about it and just let her know that she's coming across as unprofessional. She might think she's being "cute". If this doesn't work, perhaps the supervisor can discuss it with her.

If you have an office Christmas party get her the Bean-O/gasX, wrap it nicely and give it to her to open in front of the whole office. She'll get the message and the whole office will appreciate it. Should solve your problem. Good Luck
