This is what i do. I like a girl. Once i figure out girl's interested too, i don't like her anymore. After we've both moved on, i wonder why i stopped liking her. cycle continues with a new girl. happens all the time. strange. Why and how do i fix meself? it would help more if you can relate.

p.s. never been in a serious relationship before.

You prefer the thrill of the hunt. A lot of guys are like this. Not sure why or how to fix it. maybe you should just spend time with a girl you liked before and you'll get past it.

The answer to this question is most likely not going to be available here. There is some underlying issue that is causing you to be afraid of being hurt that probably needs to be addressed in a counselling setting. If you are in High School, some schools have Psychologists/Counselors you can address these issues with, if you are in a higher ed environment (eg. college) there is most likely a health center that offers free counselling. In either case your visits are confidential.

It's kind of like when you REALLY want something and then you finally get it; it's like it's no more excitement, But I'm talking about material things. You can't play with people's lives like that. Maybe you just haven't found the right girl yet. Because any normal person would NOT want to let go if and when they find the right one.

Insecurity. You love the thrill of the chase but once you've conquered you need to validate your desireability again thru another conquest. Time and maturity will change that.
