I actual have countless DV instruments including one from Sony, and none got here with application. the ieee 1394 connection is a ordinary connection. in the adventure that your computing device working gadget would not recognize that a device is declared, then you definitely would desire to reload your port device driving force that got here including your computing device, or for the seize card in case you're employing third occasion device. yet another concept. DV instruments do no longer use USB, by employing international license contract, they only use the ilink/DV/firewire/iee1394 connection. in case you plugged in a USB, that's only for the nevertheless pictures saved on the reminiscence stick.
