I'm not familiar with the Delta Tech brand, but I have
had several H4 Xenon HID Conversions done over
the year on different pre-HID cars, and I must say
I am spoiled and will never go back to halogen.
The brightest color temperature you can get is
anywhere between 4,500K to 5,500K, which is
also the whitest color range. The higher the #
the more blue to purple you get, and the lower
the # the more yellow the lighting will be.
If you have any additional questions for me, I
would be glad to see if I can help you further.
Feel free to e-mail me anytime.
Oh, and to answer your question directly, yes!
a true HID conversion will give a much, much
brighter light that any halogen light including a
PIAA or Sylvania Silverstar -I've used these +
many others. These aftermarket "high-perfor-
ance" halogen bulbs seem to only last a few
months at best, so an HID conversion will be
a better investment and save you money in
the long run. Because replacing $50-$100
bulbs every 6 months really gets old.

They may not be much better in the light spectrum than the silver stars, but you'll find out once you spend the $55 bucks. Can you just buy one and make a comparison?
Remember, when they burn out, cha-ching.
The only real way of getting a lot more light is with higher wattage bulbs, but that would involve new wiring in the system.

I think they are much better. They give you a lot more distance so you can see farther. For $55 bucks i would take that opportunity, plus those delta tech are a good brand... Hope this helps.

Check the candlepower of the bulb and if it is greater than the ones you have, they will make more light. Before you buy, check the laws in your state for legal out put for headlights. In some states it is illegal. If it is legal and money is no object, go for it.

It really boils down to personal preference. I would not change, but obviously you are interested. I don't think you need it, or that it will enhance your safety.
