I have a lot of classes with him and I don't really know him to well and he might or not like me. So do you guys have any ideas of what I should put in a not for him?

I have no idea how old you are, so I don't want to say anything that might get you in trouble. Best idea, is be yourself. I mean whatever you write, make sure it's sending the kind of message you want your relationship to be based on. Don't right something that you think he might like, but isn't really you.

Before writing a note, have a friend ask him what he thinks about you. Writing a note might be moving to fast.

Just be natural. After class talk to him and then suggest to change phone numbers so you guys have someone to call in case one has a question or miss a class. Call after a week and ask a class question and start babbling about anything.

Don't do a note, just get to know him better, and get more comfortable around him and make him more comfortable around you! Display your good side when you're around him, chat with him at nights, call him, text message him, learn everything about him, and share everything about you with him. Eventually, you will be comfortable enough with him as to not have to write him a note and you can ask him in person.

Just tell him how you feel. If you would prefer to write a note, then say exactly what you wrote here in different words. If it were me I would talk to him first and become friends. But that's me.
