Jewelry is a great choice and will show her that she is special to you. Any of them would be great. A promise ring does say that you're dedicated to her, but it means you're not dedicated enough to make it an engagement ring. A shiny bracelet or diamond earrings, if given well, could be more intimate.
If you go with the promise ring, she can still wear it after you're engaged but once you're married she would have to either go without one of the rings or switch fingers. She could wear the bracelet or earrings with an engagement ring and wedding ring.

Promise ring. I never got one but wish I did. It speaks from the heart and shows that you are serious about the relationship. Besides, no other guy has probably done that and if they did-it obviously didn't mean anything. Get that especially if she is one of many that wants marriage. It is like the next closet thing-symbolic wise.

Each sound equally nice. I'd say that the ring is more personal.
