I have some scars on body, nothing major, but i do have some scarring on my back side(on my butt and a little on my legs), from scalding water. Would you turn a girl down if she had some scarring?

While traveling overseas I met this really nice thai woman woman on the beach. We got to talking eventually I asked her to lunch. When she summoned the waiter to get something her arm underneath was completely scarred. I ask her what had happened…. she did seem quite shy about it but said a “Portuguese man a war” (which is a pretty dangerous jellyfish) had gotten under her arm when she was swimming.

She spent three weeks in hospital and it scarred her whole inner arm.

The whole time I was there ...we spent it together ....including being intimate….. you know…. I never saw that scar again after that first day.

I'm not a guy, but I have scars on both hips from some surgery I had when I was young. I have found that it often becomes a very intimate moment when a man notices a scar. It's something unusual and very personal. Also, scars are often more sensitive than normal skin - this can make things more interesting.

Some guys are superficial enough to turn a girl down because of scarring, but these aren't the kind of guy you want anyway.

Nope.

Knew a woman with burn scars on her back. She fell against a motorcycle muffler when she was young. The first time I saw her naked she was very insecure. I kissed down her neck and kept going. She tensed up when I got to the scarred area. I could FEEL the tension rise when I got close and fall when I went on through. Afterward, she told me that it was the first time she didn't feel ugly. Totally worth it.

Honey, if a man rejects you over some scars, he's not worthy of you. If a guy can see there was pain and be willing to add more, he's a loser and not worth a second thought from you.

No its not a turnoff at all. Honestly not to be mean but when the face is scared it is a turn off but not on the body. Some men probably even find scars sexy! Plus I love my girlfriend to death but God forbid if she was burned or scared I would still love her the same!

Sweetheart if you run across someone shallow enough to care about something like that get on your knees and thank God He didn't allow you to get involved in a relationship with a jerk like that.

Scars are medals of honor. They show what we've been through in life and offer proof our our strength in that we endured.

One day your prince will come and I promise you this: he won't give one flying flip about your scars. He'll see the beautiful soul inside. Anyone else is not worth your time!

I once saw this reality show about a woman who had scars on her whole body except her face (ok maybe I was exageratting). She said she was afraid she cant ever look beutiful...

Then another woman said, ' Well its you whose wearing the scars for a long time. You can choose what you want to think about them...you can think they make you ugly, or you can choose to wear them like diamond jewels that make you look prettier and special.'

So I follow her, ' Wear your scars like jewellary, expensive and special"

no....just don't jump into bed and get naked with every guy.....take the time to know people ...figure out what and who you want to be intimate with ....and tell them beforehand if it really bothers you...anyone that has a problem because of your scars doesn't deserve you......be proud that you survived the accident with just a few scars and don't worry about them.....good luck

Depends on where they are. I have one small one on the underside of my chin. It's not unsightly, but it always is a good story!
