It really depends on your hairstyle and your dress.

I had a tiara with no veil - I wanted my hair to be appreciated. (I had lots of long loose curls, but wanted something sparkly in my hair)

If you have a strapless dress, wear a long veil that goes to your waist. If you are a bigger person or are short, wear a short veil (just past the shoulders to your armpit) If your dress is fairly plain, wear a really amazing tiara or a short veil with a tiara.

I personally didn't want to wear both, but I recommend choosing your dress first, and taking it with you to a bridal shop to try all the head dress options. It is much easier when you already have your dress.
Another option is to just wear a hair piece/clip with pretty flowers on it, or even a crystal butterfly.

Hope this helps you.

I had a veil that was layered and fell to about my elbows at the longest part. It had tiny sparkles on the edge, but nothing too flashy. After I got my hair done and put the veil in, I thought it looked perfect and decided not to go with the small tiara I bought (about two inches tall). My sisters convinced me to try it and it actually improved the look! I wore very little jewelry so that the focus was on my face/head and it worked well with the sparkling effect.

I had a shorter veil (just past my shoulders). I had originally planned to wear a tiara too, but scrapped that after careful consideration. I wore a higher updo style for my hair and wore the veil underneath it, so I didn't have a blusher. I really loved the way it looked, both in person and in pictures.

It depends on the shape of the bride's face, what she likes, and the style of the wedding...a lot of my brides are choosing to go without a veil or tiara and show off their hair styles instead.

I had a short veil with a juilette cap. My mother wore it when she got married so I used it as my something old. Considering my parents had been married almost 40 years when I got married I figured it had some good karma about it. After 10 years I can say the karma is still good! I have it put away for my daughters...hopefully they'll want to use it too.

omg! you have super style. in case you're wearin your hair down or up? your gown is amazingly elegant and your headscarf is easy. they complent eachother very appropriate. which would be a extreme-high quality veil. in case you needed some thing greater uncomplicated purely decide on mid length veil and not making use of an excellent style of zing or it is going to over means the headbead.
