I believe in the Bible. To me, it just makes sense. If one were to not believe in God, but follow the moral principles of the Word, they would be a friend to many, successful, trustworthy, honest, and be able to have a full and joyful life. Who in their right mind wouldn't want that? Anybody that wants to live a good life follows these morals, whether they have read the Bible or not. Too many people want proof, they want hard evidence, they want God to come down on a chariot of fire, slap em' in the face and say "Look, I exist!" I just look outside in the morning, or think about my family, friends, the beauty of nature in general and I see God. God is Love. Who doesn't want to be loved? That is the tie that binds the entire human race together. As for holidays, I celebrate my Lord on the appropriate holidays and spend time with my family, light off fireworks, eat turkey, remember fallen soldiers, and thank God that I live in a free country just because I can. I guess that's part of what I believe. As for religion, I'd rather not, just the word religion to me has a sense of divinity being polluted.

I'm a Unitarian Christian (not to be confused with Unitarian Universalists). I believe that faithful Jews, Christians and Muslims will be saved along with those who follow the Noahide Laws. I read the Bible and the Qur'an, and discuss religion with Jews, Christians and Muslims.
I'm willing to accept that the Bible and/or the Qur'an might have been changed, and I research the "common ground" among the Abrahamic religions.
I don't really celebrate holidays; if my family celebrates, then I will go along with it.
At first I thought I was alone in my beliefs, but a Wikipedia article describing Unitarian Christians described me and my beliefs almost perfectly:

I don't believe in a "God" because what is going on in the world today - wars, children starving to death, hatred of others. These are all things a real "God" would not allow. Today's religions are nothing more than money making opportunities for a very few in the name of "God". The only holidays I celebrate are Thanksgiving and Halloween as I am grateful for what I have and I like candy.

Why do you want to know? Is that not a personal issue?
Humans have not yet evolved to the level where one can share his/her ideas without being shot for thinking differently!
How many have died in the last 100 years because NATURE gave everyone a different idea, a different though, a different way of expressing?
Everyday, the NEWS, TV, papers, give an account of the price hundreds pay because they expressed themselves and others disagreed!
Give humans another million years, then ask your question!
Note the answers you have already gotten in this forum.

(zero none void nix nay not) I can't they just are not believable.
I'll celebrate Holidays but not necessarily the reason . The idea of
celebration is nice I just don't always like the underlying premise .
I would believe in Secular Humanism except that it is a group and that makes me shun involvement much like another religion
peaceout

i am a unitarian universalist,,,, which is accepting of each persons path to spirituality,,,, i happen to believe in Jesus, but i dont think everyone must,,, i celebrate in almost a double way, Christmas as Jesus's birth and also the beggining of winter/start of a new year,,,, Easter and spring,,,,, Halloween as All Hallo's Day (remember my ancestors that have passed,,, and as a day of fun for children,,,,, i came to my religion after much thought and learning about various religions,,, i could not follow one that left other people out,, thought they were wrong etc,,,, i feel that the world has so many different types of people, there must be many right ways to spirituality and God.

buddhism... cos it doesnt tel u to do anything, or do nothing!.... it teaches that u are ur own boss and the only person who has the power to change it. it says u can change it anyway u want. but it also says that bad acts/thoughts accumilate bad karma(sins) which can afftect ur future. most of all it make u realize how trivial life is and how fruitless it is to fight and crave for things in this world and through that understanding it helps u acheive inner peace. of course it all so much more deeper than that but i hope u get the drift!
