If you need help from Yahoo Q&A to open a daycare, you clearly lack the intellectual requirements to open a daycare. You also need to be qualified as a childminder or preschool teacher. Not everybody can open a facitlity for children and I think it is good that way.

One of this first things you could do is volunteer in a daycare for a few days to see how it operates and ask questions of the owner as to how they got their license and get familiar with the laws of your state, especially if you plan to have the daycare in your home. Find out if in your area they offer classes in child care and parenting. Contact your local welfare office. If feeding would also be a problem a local school where I once lived prepared meals at a small cost. Granted we had to pick the meals up in special containers but the meals were well balanced. This should be of some help. Good Luck.

First you need to find out what the state requires you to have in order to open a home daycare , then take a look at your finances to see if you are able to , it is not cheap . Then if it gets as far as opening one find a catering company that can serve meals that are healthy for the ages you will have in your care .

You are not qualified to have a daycare if you don't know who is going to feed them.
