What is the best prayer that has ever been answered for you?

Never in the twenty to thirty years when I prayed was there any shred of an answer . I also recall meeting a gentleman in a mental institution who said a rosary for thirty years with obvious
negative life circumstances to show .

That's a tough one to remember right now. There have been many prayers answered for me. God answers my prayers all of the time! Plus, God often changes my view by "not answering" my prayers to my wishes. Then I see that his plan is better. So, that makes this a difficult question to answer. Well, here it is as best as I can remember. I prayed one night that God would help me with some struggles. The next morning, my father had a book for me to read that answered all of my questions when I was struggling with faith. My life completely changed since then. So, I'd say that was a pretty awesome answer to prayer.

Many prayers have been answered for me but this is the best and latest. My husband was almost killed in a 18-wheel accident in may. His truck blew out a tire and caused him to lose control. He broke his neck in three places and crushed his right leg and knee. We started praying for God to have his way and if it was his will to completely heal my husband. The Dr. told us that he wouldn't be able to walk until about November and maybe he would be able to go back to work in 2007. Marks halo came off July 10, Mark walked 3 days later into our sons Air Force graduation. He went back to work 6 weeks ago. Mark is completely healed he doesn't even have a limp. God still heals today and he always answers our prayers. Sometime the answer is "No not today".

My father had a stroke. in the hospital for nine days in a coma.he got pneumonia. erratic EEG. had a machine making him breath.I got on the floor on my knees.in my little home.and begin praying. God your going to heal my Dad. over and over and over.I heard a voice in my head. Go Rub His Feet. I got up. I looked at the clock. five hours had passed.?? no way.it couldn't have been 3 minutes. maybe five but no more then that..I went to the hospital I rubbed his feet.the nurse came in. don't rub his legs it might cause blood clots she said. I told her God told me to rub his feet and to leave the room I take jurisdiction here I am his son.In just a few minutes he raised his foot in the air. and he was pointing at his foot I had just laid down.I turned and his eyes were opened.the most tired eyes I have ever seen.I sat with him a while and left. the doctor said he heard what had happened .said to my mother that this was a miracle. he lived well for 11 more years and he had a little memory lose, not bad and he talked a lot more then he used to. Praise God, sometimes i get tears in my eyes thinking about that.But theres been so many times God didn't answer my prayer.I don't know why he answered my prayer for my father really. but I sure an grateful.

I'll name a few My husband was shot at about 10 feet away the bullets missed him. I prayed for him that day before he left to work.
A criminal tried to run him over. I prayed for him that day.
Drug dealer shot at him with an automatic through a door he was standing on the otherside waiting for them to come out.
On his way back to the station after a 15hr shift dead tired dipatched reported a auto theft they went right passed him so he pursued them he cornered them by himself they came out from hiding and surendered they practically put the cuffs on themselves. God new he was to tired to do much else I'm sure his grandma prayed that day she prayed every day for him intill she died last year. There are to many to write . To the person who answered first about prayer I feel really sorry for you if thats what you really think Mabey no one ever prayed for you. I don't only pray for the people I love I pray for people I don't know and I will pray for you too. You seem like such a negative sad miserable person.

To stopper death for a day, so she could have one last Christmas here. To heal a man with cancer. Many other things too personal to tell. I have seen many things in my life. Many and great things by the power of prayer. Our mind and the mind of God working together can do all things.

since i was a child, i had a vision of my mom and her boyfriend getting into a terrible car accident. i prayed for years that my mom would not be in that accident. her boyfrienfd ended up dying in an auto accident a few years ago -- my mom was not with him. i didn't want him to be killed, but as a child, the person i prayed for was my mom. i know that it was by god's grace that this prayer was answered & i still have her.

When my family members got saved. They're not ALL saved yet so the prayer continues, but seeing their lives transformed from blasphemers to praisers is a true miracle!
