It should be in all the way except for the string, otherwise its rather uncomfortable.

The only thing that should be sticking out is about an inch of string. Insert the first part of the applicator all the way until the rim is just outside the vagina. Then slowly push in the other part of the applicator until you feel the tampon kind of go over a bump or it feels like it slants into place. Make sure you are relaxed or it will be almost impossible to position. It will not hurt, but it will work itself out if it is not in all the way.

Nope, purely the string might want to draw close out some. if the great, absorbant section is sticking out, it is not any longer in a procedures adequate and can want to nicely be uncomfortable. once you positioned it in, grab the terrific a million/2 inch of the outer applicator including your thumb and index finger and positioned it in till your hands hit your body. Then push the interior, plunger part of the applicator in till it hits the proper of the outer part of the applicator that is sticking out of your body about a million/2 an inch. Then, pull the applicator (both parts) out. And all you should work out is string. There are frequently quite specified intstructions someplace on the packaging or in slightly paper insert of the tampon field that can help you understand with images the thanks to do what I purely stated.

Yep..needs to be in all the way the only thing sticking out should be the string. You need to reinsert until you get it right. Try putting a little bit of Vaseline on the tip to make it slide in easier and more completely.

when you put the plastic cover part in the round part should be all the way in then you push the small round thing at the end to insert it and yes the actual tampon should fully be in except the string

it should be all the way in, try putting the applicator up farther before you push the thing that pushes the actual tampon in. when i first started using tampons, i had that problem, it was always sticking out a little. extremely uncomftorable.

it definitely needs to be in all the way ..there should be at least an inch of space from the end of the tampon to the entrance of your vagina.. not only is it uncomfortable you're gonna irritate your skin.... you're probably not putting it in right...try squatting... the only thing that should hang out is the string..
