No creationist says that the world is 2000 years old.If you add up the dates in the Bible, and hold a creationist point of view, you arrive at the age of about 6000-7000 years old.

The earth is not 2000 years old. Much older than that!!! Where are you getting your information?

Yeah, that answer was stupid. I think she meant the Bible was 2000 years old, which not all of it is. Some of the manuscripts were older.

I think they meant 6000 years old...there are a lot of people who believe the earth is around 6000 years old...mainly Christians (but not all Christians).

I don't know where you heard that from but that is a flat out lie. You have got to remember B.C. and A.D. in school. B.C. means before Christ, before Christ was born, you know, Jesus Christ (what Christmas is all about), and A.D. means after death, after he died. He died about 2,000 years ago, so the earth is not 2,000 years old.

I can't believe you just asked that. Nobody ever said that. Years were measured up until the time of Christ. According to the Jewish calendar I believe it is in the 5700 from RECORDED TIME.
