Yes, I've been to Patagonia many times since my first trip in 1979. What started out as business only soon became a passion for me as I met so many wonderful new friends there.

You should do yourself one of the biggest favors of your life and do whatever you have to in order to visit this exquisite part of the world. Not only will you find the culture, scenery and wildlife every bit as awesome as North America but you will be blown away by the friendliness of the people there.

If you don't speak Spanish, pick up a pocket translator dictionary and study some of the more common phrases before you leave. It always helps to know even a little bit of the local tongue. Also, the best time to visit is in the spring (our fall) because you can't get better weather than that time of year.
