Doesn't have to be x-mas, but it must be awesome. Kool appetizers, cookies, dips, punches, and such. A feast for the eyes, too would be nice. I'm putting forth a bit more effort than just throwing out chips and cookies!

Try setting out a table with a variety of breads like french bread chunks, bagels, and English muffins...have a mini pizza station set up to where each teen can create their own pizza bread and then toast them in the oven for them...a good recipe for punch is to take different colors and flavors of juice and freeze them into ice cubes...start a few days early so you can get a lot of them done...then add them to a punch bowl with some ginger ale or sprite or sierra mist....it is quite tasty.

Ask everyone to bring one small dish!

You Bake, (From Scratch) Hot Rolls, Bake Chicken Drum Sticks,
Potato Salad, Baked Fruit: Cored Apples, Cored Pears sliced like Orange wedges, Fresh Pineapple, Bananas, cut in half then each half cut into fourths, peaches, Kiwi, raisins, cranberries.
Arrange the fruit, alternating each kind. Drizzle honey over all,
tabs of butter here and there, and a liberal dose of brown sugar.
Bake in the oven until fruit is hot!

Taco's and burritos. Prepare a variety of meat, cheese and vegetables in small dishes, and let everybody make their own taco or burrito. Make sure to have chips, salsa and bean dip. Have a couple of frying pans on low, so you can make quesadillas and have the oven on broil to melt the cheese on your nachos. Make non-alcoholic margaritas for the kids, and pure agave margarita for yourself. 19 x 14 year old teenagers, your gonna need it!
