Of course not, what an unusual question. The reason is obvious they are no better or worse than I am

No more reluctant than I would be to sit next to anyone else. Good question though.
However, if they are brown because they are covered in some substance, even if its just paintm mud or even chocolate - I would be reluctant to sit there (well unless I knew the person and why they were covered in whatever). If they are 'brown' because they have dark skin, or because they go to Brown or because their surname is brown I wouldn't have an issue with it.
Thanks for the question =)

No, I don't care what the person I'm sitting next to looks like. The only people I'm reluctant to sit next to on the bus are really stinky people and people with very annoying behavior, whatever their color is.

Of course not, I ride the bus all the time and have never even given that a thought. The only people that put me off are the ones yakking on their cell phones in loud voices and having conversations that really should be kept in the privacy of ones own home. I don't sit beside them.

What a funny question, Have you been the victim of racism in the past? If you have I am sorry. I would have no problem sitting by any person an a bus. Except a drug addict that is. I don't like them, they are bad people.

Though not a brownnie myself I'm not white and I don't live in racist US. However people are reluctant to sit next to me and now I enjoy this benefit of racism, because specially when I come back home after work I'm so tired that I only want to sleep. Paranoics give me the perk of having the seats just for me. Thanks Bush for unleashing such fear (I'm not Arab not Arab-looking either).

I would be reluctant to sit by any man, but if it was a woman, no. By brown do you mean middle eastern?

Now why would you ask this? I was at the pediatrician"s office on Friday with 3 children. There was a "brown man" there and I took the seat beside him. Why would I not take the seat beside him on the bus?

i'm reluctant to sit by ANYBODY on the bus!!...i would sit by a woman before taking a seat by a man....and i don't really think the person's color matters to me so much as their hygeine....i'd sit by a clean black man before i'd sit by a filthy white woman.....so, it all depends....i guess basically so long as they are clean and don't look like a complete lunatics (which there are plenty of on the bus) i would sit by anyone
