That nasty cold sore is called herpes! Don't worry it is So common its not even funny there are some topical creams you can buy at the pharmacy called Abreva but I Have a better solution. I have cold sores before they are connected with low immune system you must take care of your body. Go to the health food store and buy a product called liquid grapefruit seed extract this product does wonders it has natural antibiotic and ant viral properties. Take it with Orange juice twice a week its nontoxic so no need to worry. Stay on this regimen and the virus should stay nonactive forever unless you get the flu then it may pop up but that once or twice a year.

Take a cotton swab, moisten with purified water, dip moisten swab in fresh ground sea salt. Place on cold sore. Beware it stings. Repeat several times a day until gone. I do this and the sore is gone within 1-2 days. You can also rinse with peroxide.

I suffer from cold sores when Im really stressed and run down. I have tried pretty much every ointment there is and they all, for some reason make mine worse. I usually take Llysine Tablets. Blackmores' are a really good formula...and it works well for me

The best thing to do is to leave it alone. I used to have two, one on each side of my mouth. I picked at the bigger one and it stayed there for maybe 2 weeks while the other disappeared within 2 days. Whenever I opened my mouth to eat something, the sides of my mouth with the cold sore I picked hurt terribly.

I say clean it with mild soap and warm water then rinse it with very cold water and pat completely dry with a clean towel then put carmax or camphor on it and let the sore breathe never put anything over it because it won't heal. you will see it heal in about two days.
