So I'm at the nursing home doing volunteer work. A lady who makes me call her GRANDMA is like spazzing out in her wheelchair and her neck is giving off a foul stench!!!! Is this part of her Neurofibromatosis condition or something weird??! HELP ASAP. Is this serious enough to call 911!?

Facial pain, or facial numbness, caused by pressure from the tumors is really the only symptoms I could find. I would say if its foul smelling it could be infected. Speak to one of the nurses or call the on call physician. If you can't reach any of those and you feel that worried about her....Call 911. Better safe than sorry.

Since she is in the nursing home you can just mention this to the nurse who is taking care of her. Since you are only a volunteer they can't tell you any health related information as this is an invasion of her privacy. As for calling 911 I don't see the point since you are in the nursing home and there are nurses to help her. Something tells me this is a made up post because anyone at a nursing home would know enough to tell the nurse or staff worker if there was a problem with a patient.

Hi, that might be an infection, you should contact her doctor or the home's doctor. She needs antibiotics and better hygiene

Either you're completely full of crap or you're stupid beyond belief. If you're just stupid, then contact your supervisor.
