There should be no side effects. Guaifenesin is used to help keep the mucus in your lungs moving. It sometimes is in over the counter diet formulas. It's the main ingredient in Mucinex. If you are taking it mixed in with diet formulas;that may have an effect with the zoloft but otherwise I don't think it even be noticeable. I've been taking mucinex for a long time time and I've never noticed anything.I hope this helps you.I'll keep my eye on your responses. Maybe I'm missing something. Good luck.
