- If you don't know why you love him, it's because it must be sincere. You don't love him for his money, it's appearance or things like that.

Oh, Jen!!! Wow! This is time for some serious heart, soul and everything else searching. I'll bet you're a really smart gal and you'll figure this out but I'm really curious as to the rest of the conversation like, you said and then he said. E-mail me if you want and let me know. I think that should have been one question that you could have answered in a heart beat...if you did love him. Maybe something...or some things have happened and you are questioning your love for him..maybe you have realized that the relationship isn't really going anywhere and you have realized you expect and deserve more. I think that it's just something you are going to have to dig deep inside and figure out before you end up 5 years later in a loveless relationship. Good Luck to you

I think you need to sit down and write all the "pros & cons" and see what it really is about him that you love, and if you are having a hard time answering him, it just might be that you are not sure about your feelings. Ask yourself........"how does he make you feel when you are together". Maybe as the song goes "you've lost that loving feeling". Good Luck to you!

That means he's been suspecting that you are no longer in love with him and you sort of proved him right. You might still love him. Sometimes you love someone without a reason. Sometimes you love someone because he is like air to you -- you don't notice him much but you can't live without him.

You'd be the best person to answer this question. I'd guess you don't love him if you can't come up with a single reason. But perhaps you're just slow? What do you think?

if you couldnt tell him that mean you dont love him. after 5 years you all probably just grew apart or it never was there and you were just hanging in there for some other reason(sex,money,scared to be alone) think about it before another year pass

Maybe your not sure. Maybe there are too many to know. Can you name anything? Or just because. Sometimes you don't have to have a reason to love someone only because there are who they are that you love them. Don't think so hard and maybe it will come to you. Good Luck

Well it can mean you really love him, because when all is said an done, you cant explain why you love someone.
Or it can mean you don't love him, and never really realized it. IL bet you can better answer this question though.
