Is someones life or safety in jeopardy? If not then I think you should hold on to the secret. If it's a family secret then talk about it with them. Why do you have to tell?

if it's only a family secret why break it... if it's illegal, and forever damaging to you or someone else... talk to a councillor and I'm sure they'll steer you in the right direction... good luck

talk to a counselor, clergy, trusted adult, etc... sounds serious; especially if you think your parents are telling "part way" the truth.
