There is this girl at school I really don't like. She's nice, but can be pesky, and is not very attractive at all. I can tell, however, that she likes me. Today she asked me "next time we do group work in english, want to be my partener?" Being the nice guy I am, I said maybe. I really don't like it when she is around either, but she is ALWAYS there! It is really starting to bug me. How can I nicely tell her I don't like her? I've tried talking about other girls in front of her, but she doesn't get it. I am really getting angry about this. what should I do?

You seem like a very nice and considerate guy. If I were you this is what I would do:
Pull her aside to a private place where no one will over hear or see the conversation. Be straight forward and honest, don't beat around the bush. "Jane, it makes me really uncomfortable that you keep making advances at me (give specific examples) and I would appreciate it if you could just take a few steps back. You are really nice but I would prefer that we just stay classmates."
There was nothing mean about that but she is still a girl and will probably still feel hurt- but that's life. It sounds like she has a life of rejection ahead of her, it's gotta happen some time. Just make sure it is private and at a time where she can go cry in the bathroom for a while- it would be pretty crappy to reject a girl right before a test or infront of anyone.

Well being honest is the best way to deal with it, imagine things being the other way around, and a different person was getting annoyed with you for not getting the hint, surely you would rather know the truth than just be led on (she'll see it as being led on). If it happened that way in the end she will be more embarrassed about it the more time that passes without knowing the truth.

Never never tell any body that you dont like them.(Everybody is creation of great Godand we are no body to say liking and disliking)But May be you may straight tell on the proposed activities that you are not considering their invitation.Reasons can not be explained etc.Total liking and disliking is a altogether different act and it is very clear from your act that you want to have a sober and nice image. But you may refuse clearly for the activities and dont think too much about this.Concentrate on something else fully and you will see this temporary difficuly gets vanished. Good luck.

Sometimes you may have to be cruel so just tell her you want to talk to her and then you tell her how you really feel. the best policy is honesty she may or may not be hurt but she really should be told where she stands and that you do not want to hook up with her good luck

Don't come right out and say you don't like her. If it turns out she doesn't like you in the first place, you'll look real dumb and feel dumber because then you look stuck up. Wait till she asks you on a date or somethign, then you can nicely turn her down and say you're not interested. She may just want to be your group partner because you're intelligent or something.
Never assume... it makes an *** of u and me.

Sounds like you have a parasite on your hands. If you want to get it over and done with, then tell her bluntly when yu 2 are alone that "i believe that you like me and yatta yatta yatta, im sorry, but i dont feel the same way about you". And if you want to add in the "your really annoying to me" part to keep her away for a while, then go for it! lol.

If you don't want to return the " affection" that you obviously feel...Ok.....assert yourself and tell her the way you feel. I hope you can be civil and just let her know in a nice way the real story.

Tell her: "Hey you hag, you skag, you filthy rag, you sleazy-slimey-sl_u_t. Between yor thghs green fungi lies, and earthworms crawl out ur butt. Before I'd kiss those skanky lips, or touch those skaggy ti_ts, I'd drink a barrel of buzzard puke and die of the drizzly s_h_i_t_s
