Someone who is a doctor told me that Scottish Rite Children's Hospitals are free for everyone.?

How can that be? How could an institution run if they provide all of their services for free?
Just FYI, there are Scottish Rite hospitals in Atlanta and Dallas.

They operate through private donations. There are many fund drives for them, and a lot of corporations make donations so they can provide services at no charge.

They can operate there institution by way of donations volunteers and I assume people who have health insurance would provide it when being admitted to the hospital.
