ermhs... don't worry i'm not planing to commit suicide or something... i'm just interested to know, why do some people choose really weird and painful ways to commit suicide such as jumping off a building? and wouldn't it be worse if they end up paraysed instead of dead?

Get into a car and sleep in it. Carbon monoxide reduces your ability to respire, and is hence painless, which makes it 'the best and least painful way to commit suicide' in my opinion. It's pretty lethal and 1% carbon monoxide in air can kill people pretty fast.
Maybe jumping off a building is symbolic in a way. And they generally jump from higher floors so they'll probably end up dead instead of paralysed? Or maybe because they don't have a car to die from overexposure to carbon dioxide. Hahha, I have no idea, just guessing.
(In my opinion though, it's best that we don't know the reason why people choose different painful ways of dying, unless we're trying to understand them in order to encourage them to live. If we do understand their reason for their way of dying, then we're one step closer to committing suicide ourselves.)

I would like to comment on one person that said your mentally ill if you want to commit suicide. SOME people are not ill when they think that. People are tired of feeling pain and tired of going through what they are going through. Its the hopelessness that hurts. So I say get help, talk to people. Tomorrow is a better day. Good Luck.

sudden, why even try finding out .... think expectations of pain are traumatic when some one else is suffering how is their pain is lasting ? do you think losing the will to live can be that pain-full to consider and be to much that people don't want to hurt. so most of all people will stay alive so the answer is pain is inevitable. from any death.

I would be a fool to answer that question, it might encourage someone to try it.
As far as pain goes, the possibility that I would spend all of eternity in Hell is reason enough to try and work out my problems while I'm still on earth.
I'm not saying that all people who committed suicide went to hell. Maybe none did. What I'm saying is that I don't know whether I would go to hell or not.

the best and least painful way to commit suicide is to stay alive. This way you don't deal with pain and the best way is that you get to say a proper goodbye when you leave people. oh and remember death isn't just a end to life, if you don't like it here, you definetly won't like it there.

If you're not planning on committing suicide I would rephrase the question, before someone calls a Psychiatrist for you.
People who committ suicide are mentally ill and they don't take the time to figure out the best way to do it. They just do it. They don't take the time to seek professional help when they need it. I think it is one of the most selfish acts a person can do. They don't take into consideration the people that they leave behind.
