I have a friends looking into this dvd player. Any feeback on anyone who has one of these?

Durabrand products aren't that bad overall - but that said, they ARE an "entry level" product category.

I happily paid $9.97 for a Durabrand coffee maker, and it works to this day.

As far as consumer electronics, I would say that if it costs over $50.00 and lasts over a year, you got a fair deal. If you are an "occasional" dvd watcher, perfect! If you watch DVD's constantly, put movies on for the kids day in and day out, or use it heavily, I'd suggest moving up to a manufacturer that is more popular, like Sony, Samsung, etc.

I don't know, durabrand products usually suck if you ask me.
