If you are going to get a ring make sure of these things before you buy.

Know her ring size and have it sized when you get it.
Get her mom to help you pick it out if you are not sure of her style. Does she like white or yellow metals?

Make sure also that you can return it in case there is a no in her answer (I am sure it wont happen, I am just a practical person.)

But to answer your question, a lot of girls, myself included, are sentimental and to have thering right there would make it mean more. Good Luck and I wish you a happy marriage!

It doesn't have to be a diamond ring. A woman is happy with any respect that a men shows her. A ring means so much to a woman. It means "trust" I can tell and show how much my fiance cares for me (a ring says a thousand words). A men gains so much by giving a ring you earn trust, loyalty, respect and commitment.

The answer is yes!!! Yes I will marry you. Why because you are treating me with dignity.
Get the ring if you want this woman to think highly of you forever...

Now a days woman and men usually decide together wether theyre to marry or not and then they choose the ring. A woman likes to have some in put, its on her finger, shes showing it to her friends. Having the diamond there wouldnt make it more desirable in my eyes, if i truly beleived the union would last, that would be enough for me.

I would definitely get her a small diamond ring. Then call over a "few" family members and friends, maybe have a small get-together, then tell everyone that you have an announcement....get down on your right knee.....she'll love it! Make sure that you don't tell anyone about your plans, they are sure to ruin it! GOOD LUCK

Having the ring during the proposal completes the little girl fantasy... You want to wear it around, show it off etc... It wouldn't sway my answer, I wouldn't say yes just for the ring.

Well yeah but not necessarily.

It would be great, and she would probably NOT say no then, but she might expect great things from you for the rest of the relationship. Or she might think that you waste money if she's anti-materialism.

But most women would love you and accept in a heartbeat.

So yes.

Go for it.

Good luck :-)

Give me a big ole diamond ring, and I'll let you know if it makes a difference.

There is a man who talks about marriage to a woman. recently when they visited a exclusive jewelry store and browesed the cases of extravagent gems, he avoided the arena of the "rocks" or a suggestion that they peak at them....do you think this man is serious?

YES!! Big difference. It shows thought, that you will keep things special forever, and that you made a commitment (albeit a financial one) to her.

I think all that matters is how much in love I am , not how big the rock is . Don't get this wrong , I love the sparklers .
