I love hanging out with my bf and talking to him on the phone. When we are on the phone we have a good conversation for about an hour. But after a while it gets quite, was else should we talk about?

okay longest phone conversation =11 hours straight .. so.. I would just talk about random things..
for example:
your day
his day
upcoming plans
music
what you plan to do later
I talk about just about anything.. I could talk about like a nail on the wall amusing me
I love to ask questions to find out every little detail about him
and... uhm confessions
future plans or goals
hobbies
school activities if your still in school or out
fun times
likes and dislikes
( I dont like awkward silences or anyhting like that) so I am forced to keep an entertaining conversation
another example would be
events you want to happen

I have a girlfriend for about a year now. We still talk on the phone for hours a day. But I think its good to realize that the best of friends (boyfriends) will be able to sit there with you in silence and still hvae a great time. Its a quote from some famous guy. It basically says that you dont always need to talk about things, just knowing the other person is there is great.

Aside from that, lol, talk about your day and how thigns are going. After that just talk about what ever is in your mind. HOpes and dreams, things you guys wanna do together. TIP: always use the word WE and US, it sub conciously add's to the togetherness of things.

You know, an hour might be long enough for a phone conversation...you don't necessarily need to stretch it out longer once you've run out of things to say, it's totally normal for a conversation to die down after a bit.

But, if you insist, there are tons of things to talk about. Check out http://www.eslgold.com/speaking/topics_for_conversation.html for some ideas. You might also want to check out http://www.wouldyourather.com/ or pick up one of the "Would You Rather..." books for some fun conversations.

There's nothing wrong with a lull in the conversation. Talk about mutual friends, plans for the weekend, plans for holiday break, cooking, TV programs, sports, music, movies, whatever pops into your head. But seriously, being a chatty Cathy can be nerve wracking, too. Relax.

this sounds stupid but write down conversation topic that you have had with other people so when you run out you can look on your list and after a while you wont need it. I had this same problem and that worked great for me.

I'm not sure what topics you've already talked about but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say maybe you can chat about embarrassing moments, what your 2007 goals are gonna be, music, talents, etc....

Suggest doing something new and exciting.
This will spark other ideas and from there it will go off on a tangent.
And tangents are beautiful.
