together until 5 years ago he hasn't brought up marriage but i have and he just tip toes around my question.Please give me your oppion on what his deal is.

What do you want? That is a long time to be together? Some states, that is considered a "Common-law Marriage". You may not need to go official! Beyond that, I would pin him down and say enough is enough. We are doing this. If he does not want to commit...there must be a reason why and you need to know.

instead of asking what's his deal, i want to know what's your deal! 12 years you've been with this guy and nothing yet! YOU should have taken matters into your own hands. don't let someone else decide your future. don't waste anymore time. if he's still tip toeing around now, that's not a good sign. come on hon', make your own life. don't let him make yours. good luck and lots of best wishes.
