Solomon's lover in the first chapter of Song of Solomon was black. The Queen of Sheba was black. Some believe Sheba might have been the ancient kingdom of Zimbabwe, some incredible ruins of which still exist today. The Ethiopian eunuch in the book of Acts was a trusted court official to Queen Candace of Ethiopia. Tradition says he introduced Christianity to her and all of Africa. Truly, any of the Biblical heroines could have been black, but no others were specifically mentioned as being, nor as being from the countries of Africa. It is not racist to be interested in a race's representation in God's Word.

I just would like to say that is a great question, people may believe it is not important, but I believe it is important to know this because black people have been treated so horribly in our history and if we looked as far back as the bible to find out the positioned we have played even in ancient history maybe we could get some logic going about our history today, I think it is so important to know the role of the black women when Jesus lived, did he allow the kind of treatment in his day like the treatment that we received after his death and still in the present? , if so, why it may because some believe in Genesis chapter 9 through 10 it is talking about Noah cursing his son the Ham and all of his descendants, but being that Genesis is sometimes discredited as a real chapter, who knows?

The only person that I vividly remember, right now, that was Black was Moses' wife. Most people in the Bible are not labeled in ethnic categories. I think this is the best thing ever. We are a world that instead of viewing people as our sisters and brothers, we are consumed with race wars. Among other things, God is not pleased. May God Bless
