My friends and I go to this bar for a Trivia Night every Tuesday (yeah, it sounds odd, but it is a lot of fun and an excuse to get out ). Our waitress is always the same, a cute one. We haven't really had any conversations with her, except for the casual waitress/patron stuff, but I would like to ask her out, especially since I just recently turned 21 and I might as well act like it.

What's the best way to ask her out?

Make sure that she is interested back first.

I am a waitress and these men come in all of the time and ask all of us out and we are totally not interested.

Try talking to her before you ask her out...it seems like you see her regularly. Then get a vibe and decide from there. Women dont like being asked out by guys they dont even know.

Maybe ask another waitress to do a little detective work for you...that works. But make sure you give that waitress an extra tip!!

Hot waitresses you have to love them. When I was about your age I was at a Chinese restaurant with a friend of mine. Been there many times before but never really paid attention to the waitresses. The restaurant was quiet and this extremely tall, thin, sexy waitress came up to take our order.

When our food came she actually talked to us for a little while giving plenty of body language that she was interested in at least one of us. When she brought the fortune cookie at the end of the meal I opened it…. and said….. my fortune says … I should ask for your number.

She took the paper away from me, turned it over and wrote down her number. I deftly did not lose that little piece of paper and made good use of it.

Found out she was a model for women's underwear (not bad)…. also she was married… but that didn't seem to stop her. Let's just say that Mrs. Wong got SumYoungGuy

First of all with a waitress you have a great vehicle to get your point across. Leave a very large tip and make sure she knows it's from you. Then say something like I'm going to be at the mall or park or whatever on Thursday how would you like to join me. Now the day is really irrelevant… like you care. She will say no way can make it on Thursday… turn it…. so what day would be better with you? It's one of those questions that is hard to answer no to. (She doesn't know that that her tip is your last bit of rent money).

Now maybe she says I really can't take this much… it's not right. And say I've never met someone so honest and kind as you…. so rare.....

You get the idea…. figure that the hash isn't the only thing slinging in this restaurant.

If it used to be whatever each and every small, like a serviette, probabilities are while the waitress is jogging that method, she's going to simply choose one up. If it used to be a request for one other appetizer or one other drink, I could stay up for my waitress.

Try to get her number first. If that goes well, you might have a chance. If she stutters, or struggles to spit it out, then your chances are not so hot. Ask her out for coffee after you get her number, 5-7 days later. Spend no more than 5 minutes on the phone. If you can't get some sort of date/meeting arranged for a specific time, then you should probably give up on her. Good luck!

Tell her you look forward to Trivia night because you get to see her. If she smiles, follow up with "I've been thinking about you all week." Ask her if she'd be willing to go to dinner together so that you don't have to go so long without seeing her.

She may be involved with someone already, and if she says so, just smile and say, "what a lucky guy.... I guess I'll just have to limit myself to Trivia night." She will be flattered and also impressed with your confidence.

Flirt with her and get to know her by name before you ask her out, and once you have done that leave her a note with her tips, I wouldnt leave your number because she would be to shy to call, maybe hang around the place for a little and ask her to meet you by the bar or where ever, and then ask her for her number.

Talk to her and see if she has a boyfriend already. She might even be married. Talk to her like a human being and find out who she is and what she likes to do. Just asking her out out of the blue might frighten her.

You're 21 and don't know how to ask a girl out????? I'd say, ask her if she'll have a day off soon, and would she like to lgo for lunch or dinner and a movie on her day off. Maybe ask her while popping her a larger than normal tip. Good luck, but you'll never know unless you step up to the plate and ask her.
