Jayomi, Christianity is the very reason why Science even exists. If you TRULY studied science then you would know that all scientific evidence points towards an all-knowing, omni-present, eternal God.

Sir Michael, I really do agree with you. The problem with present-day Christians (or "so-called Christians") is that they say they are Christians but don't act like it and give real Christians a very bad name. And the problem with non-Christians is that they judge a religion based on the people. I can't say that Islam is bad or "fake" just because of the people who claim they are Islamic. I have to study what that religion teaches and then I can make a statement about it.

Hey,

Christianity overall, is not the same as it was yesterday, people that say they are Christians aren't really Christians at all. Do no judge Christianity by the people who say they are, judge it by the words of Jesus Christ and his actions.

If you read His words, then you will see that there is a big problem with today's Christian church. Do some research on how the early Christians lived, and you will see a HUGE difference compared to today's Christ followers. If you want to find solid and genuine followers of Christ, you would have too look a lot harder than you would yesterday.

Jesus Christ will not accept hypocrites into His Kingdom.

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." Revelation 3:16

To be a Christian you have to walk, talk, and act like a "Christ"-ian. A Christian means to be just like Christ, not to be 25% Christ, and then 75% something else.

i think that Christianity has been pulled in many directions and that alot of people are taking the easy route and just believing what thier pastor teaches them. if they would read it for thierselves they might find that they dont know thier Bible as well as they claim. dont get my wrong i love God, i am a Christain. i just like to read and study for myself. my father was was a pastor and he always promised that he would not teach anything he could not back up with scripture, but we were still required to read it for ourselves and decide for ourselves what we thought it meant. if we all could do that, then we would all know better what to believe.

Christianity is all about being a christian. A christian is one who is trying , to be like Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us to be Holy as HE is Holy. Several places in the Bible it gives instruction on the things that a person needs to stop doing in order to be more like Jesus. It involves loving Jesus, all of our heart, soul ,mind and strength. One will never be a Christian if they do not learn to LOVE HIM and learn about HIM through reading the Bible and praying and worshiping HIM. Read Romans through JUDE, and find out what God wrote through the Apostle Paul as to what He expects from us in order to be true Christians.

I think there is a lot of philosophy in Christianity that is worth reading and studying and incorporating in your life.

I think that the Bible is written as metaphor, and not literal truth.

I think the biggest problem with Christianity is the attitude of too many of its followers.

i think any faith that fosters "blind faith" is not guiding anyone anywhere. blind faith tells u to follow god but not to question him, it doesnt allow for evolution of mind and body, it doesnt accept change of time or space. it cannot answer the workings of the universe and its very exsistence becouse it says god is the creator!.... i think a proper faith is one which tells u how to better ur self by questioning and thus actually seeing for ur self. like solving a math problem, if the proffessor tel u this is the answer u just have to have faith and beleive it , but if u solve it ur self and arrive at the answer u KNOW thus u actually see for ur self, eliminating blind faith

i think it's great! i'm a christian so of course im gonna think that. but it is pretty bad when ppl worry to much about traditions and what not and stop focusing of Jesus. it can also be pretty bad when you consider how many christians out there are hypocrites...but not all of them are which is why i hate it when ppl make that assumption.

Christianity is one of the many cults that subscribe to God Theory. GOD THEORY - The accumulated myths and superstitions of your ancestors which have been dogmatized, institutionalized and then mounded into the colossal pile of crap they call ultimate truth.
