Job is a good book. It probably has had a lot of people recognize how good of a book it is, because it is believed to be the oldest book in the Bible.
I like the Gospel of John. Through it, I found Jesus, my Savior.

My favorite book of the Bible is Genesis, because it uses allegory and symbolism in the early chapters to describe our relationship to God. I'm a theistic evolutionist, by the way.

I love the story in Genesis 38 when Judah's oldest son dies and his second son has to impregnate the widowed wife.
He "pulls out" and spills on the floor before the job is done
so God kills him.
Juda doesn't want his 3rd son to die so he decides to deny the widow of the family seed.
She seeks revenge on him by disguising herself as a whore
and he buys her off with a lamb. "Allow me to come unto thee"
"What will you give me?" she asks, and he gives her as a guarantee his ring, his bracelet and his staff, he comes into her and she gets pregnant with her father-in-laws twins.
And so, he plans on burning her alive. But she says to the city
"oh please, can you find the father of my child- these belong to him" and she presented the ring, the bracelet and the staff and so she was saved because she outsmarted him.
God does not punish either of them for their incest, or trickery or usury or whoredom or sexual adultery, but rewards them because it was from this affair that Jesus's genealogy was made.
That one is a great moral lesson for my children and I read it to them every night.

The Forbidden Gospels:
Judas, Mary Magdelene, and Thomas.
They are written far better and provide more insight.
My Dads a Coptic Minister so i grew up on Judas.

I love Second Corinthians - many things in that book touch my heart, speak to me, give me peace and inspiration.
"do not lose heart...these light and temporary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that outweighs them all" - Chapter 4
It means hang in there... the gift of eternal life is awesome!
