Is Lucifer, Satan, Azazel, and Baalzebub the same entity? If not, who is the most powerful demon in Christianity. Can this demon defeat the most powerful angel? How does "God" fit into all this.. Is he/she/it just an observer or judge of all things, like the Living Tribunal of the Marvel multiverse?

Satan is the top devil, under him there are what we call principalities and powers. He actually, has levels of demonic forces. No demonic forces can not overpower any of Gods.That is why they come after people, that is who they attack. They are trying to take as many as they can to hell with them because they know that is not what God wants. Sounds like it would make a good movie, but its true. Don't let them get you.They don't care a hoot about your soul. God does. And yes all those names refer to the one Satan.

Only 2 angels are named , Michael and Gabriel. Two of the demons are refereed to as the the prince of persia and the prince of greece in Daniel. Satan is referred to as the god of this system of things and the ruler of the demons. Michael is the archangel and Revelation chap 12 explains what he does to Satan and the demons. God obviously has the power to to destroy satan but has given him time to try to prove his point as illustrated at Job chap 1. Why do u think the world has so many problems? Satan knows his time is short.
