I don't understand what is wrong for speaking up and speaking out against the 48,000,000 abortions of children in America since Roe v. Wade in 1973.

Because there have been so many of them killing doctors and bombing personal property in the name of "pro-life".

The fact that the anti-choice people want to use the coercive power of the state to shove their narrow religious beliefs down every ones throat is cause for great alarm. If you don't believe in abortion, don't GD have one. Take that right away from the rest of us and you will start a very uncivil war. Angry women with matches all across America will turn fundi and Catholic churches into burning monuments to gender repression. Women will NOT go quietly back to the barbarity of being forced to breed unwanted children.

I think its the ignorance behind the ideas of pro-lifers. Who says that Life doesn't mean life. It means suffering, hate, poverty, abuse, a living hell for a living creature. Pro-lifers would rather see an unwanted, dirt poor, ignorant, unloved child, born out of rape and horror, abused for the rest of their lives and turned into another sad psycho on death row, than spare this Earth a further bloodsucking human. Pro-lifers want to choke our planet with people. Pro-lifers want every family to have 50 children with no shoes begging on the street. Life doesn't always mean a good life. A life worth living is more important, and only a woman knows if her own child will be given that or a life of horror. Pro-life would rather see the world choked under a blanket of hungry humans. People should be spayed.
I think what people dislike the most about pro-life is the presumption of all these fanatics that believe they know God's will better than fate himself.

There is nothing wrong with speaking out against the killing of innocent babies, however pro-life people are disliked because of three reasons.
1. The abortion industry is a huge industry bring millions of dollars a year to many people.
2. Abortion is the only way for a person to get out of the responsibility of what they have done.
3. Those people who want an abortion have no concern for life, some have no concern for their own life, but whatever they have they want to live it their way with no one interfering with them.
That makes pro-life people mean and hateful in their eyes.
Well, they can hate me and I don't care.
I believe that abortion is kin to the infanticide that went on in Pagan countries thousands of years ago.

Because you don't understand all sides of the picture. The VAST majority of abortions are done on groups of cells you wouldn't be able to distinguish from a fish embryo, cow embryo, rat embryo. Do we want an extra 48 million unwanted children in this world? Aren't there enough already? And where did you get that number from? Seems a bit high.

Because they are telling other people what they can and can't do with a parasite living in their own bodies. To pro-life activists, the mother is "stupid" for getting pregnant and she should have to give birth to the baby anyway. But should she should really be raising this child if she is so "stupid?" Adoption isn't really the greatest option either, because they are already so many children up for adoption nowadays that it's hard to find a family for all of them.

(most) pro-life people are christians. Jesus said; "If the world hated ME it will hate you also". We are not going to win a popularity contest by speaking out against sin.

I am just thankful to God that I was adopted before baby killing became such a fad.

I would like pro-choicers to exlplain to the lovely 11 year old girl
(whose mother I talked out of an abortion almost 12 years ago),that she has no right to be here.

THe fat is most abortions aren't done to save the mom, or because of some kind of rape. They are done just so people won't have to deal with their consequences. Those are the abortions that can be done away with. Don't do something if you can't take the consequences.

Do you mean aside from the whole "Telling other people what they can and can't do" thing?

Or maybe the "Harassing people who are looking for legitimate and legal medical consultation" thing? Not everyone who goes to a clinic that does abortions is there for an abortion.

How many unwanted children have you adopted or fostered, out of curiosity?

Because believe it or not, abortion can sometimes be a good thing... especially for the potential child. What's better? one life that never happens or 2 ruined lives? Give it a lot of thought.

It's fine to have an opinion, everyone does, but pro life people tend to be vicious in their name calling, where as pro choice people state their opinion but respect others as well
